Programme note

meƚAƚɘm is an interactive performance environment exploring the relationship between performers, electronics and audience participation. Built around live instrumental performance, custom programming and self-made sound objects, the project transforms listeners into active participants who can influence musical processes in real time.

Conceived as an experimental music-booth, the work combines composition, improvisation, live electronics and theatrical action. The title mirrors the words META and ATEM (“breath”), reflecting transformation, perception and interactive musical communication.
